How to Make Paper Flowers Using Cupcake Liners

These adorable paper flowers are easy to make and inexpensive. They make great party decor and they're a fun rainy-day craft to keep the kids busy.

What you'll need: To make one flower

Eight cupcake liners
Glue gun
Glue stick
Button/jewel
Pipe cleaner/sticks

Step 1

Each flower will use eight cupcake liners of any size and any colour. You could even mix up the colours for a really unique flower. Fold each of the liners in half.

Step 2

Fold the liner in half again. Finally, fold one of the halves back and then fold the other half back so it looks like a zigzag.

Step 3

Take two liners and using a glue stick, glue the two points together. Hold tightly together for about 30 seconds, then set aside. Glue two more together and hold tightly. Repeat this step until all of the liners are glued into pairs. Make sure all the pieces create a full circle. Let it sit for a few minutes while the glue dries completely.

Step 4

Turn the flower over and glue a button, jewel or small pomp to the center of the flower.

Step 5

Use a glue gun to secure a pipe cleaner or a stick to the back of the flower.

Step 6

Repeat the entire process to create a bouquet.
