Bead Bowl

Perler beads usually come with forms that you can place the beads on and with an iron, you connect them to make shapes. This is a lot fun and great for fine motor skills.

Material needed to make this Bead Bowl:

- Perler Beads

- Oil

- Glass Bowl

To make a bowl, first greased a glass oven safe bowl and preheated oven to 350 degrees.

Added beads to the bowl and pressed them down and up the sides to make a flat layer of single beads. It already looked so beautiful!

Placed it in the oven and watched it carefully. Our bowl took about 10 minutes to melt and become one. Took it out of the oven and found out after a few bowls that the secret to removing it easily is to remove it while it is still warm. We used a butter knife to loosen the edges and then peeled it off.

Our bowl came out so pretty that we couldn't stop making them! Of course this is a decorative bowl that should not be eaten out of.
